Dual Credit Progam

The Fast Forward program provides every student attending an Idaho public school an allocation of $4,125.00 to use towards Advanced Opportunities in grades 7-12. The program was expanded by the Legislature in 2016 through the passing of House Bill 458.
The funds can be used for concurrent credit, AP exams, some CTE test fees, and overload courses.

Make sure you request your funds here!

Fall - students should be requesting funds and enrolling with the colleges if they are taking the following:

College Algebra
Computer Science Principles
Lit 101
Lit 175
ANY Ag Class
ANY Semester-long Dual Credit IDLA class

Student deadline to request funds from Advanced Opportunities is September 27.

If you are unsure if this applies to your student, please contact the teacher or the counseling office.

Students enrolled in year-long classes (History I or II, science classes, Calculus or Statistics, etc.) will register for the dual credit and the money in the spring semester.
